The maximum amount of fossil fuel stored in the earth will last for a further 100 years. When these fossil fuels are exhausted, people have to rely on nature. Green energy means renewable energy will be the confidence of tomorrow. People need to save energy from water, wind and sun.

Scientists from Norway and Switzerland took a step in that regard. They started trying to remove excess carbon-dioxide from the environment and use it as fuel to produce carbon dioxide and green methanol through sea water instead of fossil fuels.

According to the scientists' plan, a solar methanol island will be built on the sea, with approximately 70 panels of radius equal to 100 meter in diameter, which will produce this fuel through certain processes and equipment under sunlight. What exactly is the process of creating green methanol or fuel through these solar panels?

According to the scientists, the amount of space, solar power and water needed to produce this energy can only be found in marine areas. That is why they have chosen the maritime territories of Indonesia, North Australia and Brazil. The panels will be mounted facing the sun on a membrane, which will provide 24 MW of power to these panels.

Since the salt in the sea water, the water will be salted first. The hydrogen and oxygen of the water will be separated by hydrolysis after liberation of salt. A special tank has been arranged for this process.

This tank will be connected to an underwater pipeline that will be used to conduct steam.

The underwater pipeline will be connected to the bank's steam turbine, which will be capable of generating 5 GW of power, which will help produce green methanol and carbon dioxide.

In addition, scientists are planning to do a version of this solar methanol panel on the ground.

According to scientists' plans, millions of marine floating solar methanol islands will be powered by sunlight to produce carbon dioxide and green methanol, or fuel, which will help train, plane and ship.

But how effective this plan will be in the coming days depends not only on the cost of the equipment, but also on how much energy the vehicle will carry. But it is also a matter of concern for researchers to clean and maintain these energy producing materials in the marine areas.
